HANDICAP FURNISHED THRILLING RACE. Honey Bee, at 20 to 1, Beats Isidora a Nose in Havre de Grace Feature. Havre de Grace, Md., April 24.- -The three quarters of a mile handicap which was programmed here this afternoon furnished the best contest run during the meeting. There were rive starters that lelt the harrier abreast and four of them raced in a compact hunch lo the stretch turn. The finish found Honey Bee, a long shot, and Isidora. the favorite, fighting it out. and as they passed the judges the pair were noses apart, with the winner in doubt until the official placing was displayed. Ward was un aide to pull Honey Ree up after the race and she ran away an additional mile and a half. This was the fillys maiden effort of the season and the mishap will probably set her back. Conditions were ideal for outdoor apart and an immense crowd turned out. Two additional layers cut in. which brought the total namber up to thirty-two. The track was at its best and fairly fast time was recorded. When Right easy came out of her race yesterday it was discovered that she had bowed a tendon ■ lightly. Owner BedweJI said today that he was afraid lie would have to put her away for a month or more as a result of Hie injury.
