RRIAR PATE raced forwardly and, finishing resolutely, was gaining on the leader with every stride. LAIRA was a forward contender all the way. ARROTSFORD closed a big gap. W II. I. ARDLI.ON ran well, but could never get up to the two Waders SPRING MAID ehsed i big gap in the last quarter. THE KIMP aud AFTERGLOW finished fast.
