Schorr is again enjoyinK a ataapeaaaa racing season and his prospect of heading the list of American winning owners for the second time is obvious. Already his horses have won more than doul • lleir total of last year ami he is now far in advance of his neatest competitor. That person happens to lie the industrious 11. 1. BedweH, who has won many more races than any other owner, but not in the way of slake races of great value. J. Butlers wholesale purchase of the 1!ll2 crop of Castleton-bred yearlings is making such good returns that lie Is now third in the list, witli the supposition current that his star two year-Owes are yet to start. J. L. Holland is now fourth, but, having sold his horses and retired from racing lot a time, must naturally drop lower in the list as other owners add to their stable earnings. The present standing of the thirty leaders is: Won in Leading Winner Won in Leading Winner IMS. Owners. in 1113. 1st. 2d. 3d. 1914. in 1114. K24.055 J. W. Newman ...Ian Zareta 20 14 11 6,812 Can Zarefa David Craig has earned the distinction of having alreadv won more money ihan fell to any horse engaged in American racing in 1013. The rich Dorval Derby accounts for his eminence, but he seems to Ik- a three-year-old capable of adding to his already gathered spoils. jijs stablemate. Luke Mel.nke, is next t loin ill money won and is probably the better race horse of the two. Fortunate is the owner possessing two snch three year olds. A capital two year old. J. N. Camdens Luke, is third in the list with live well-, . in.-d victories to his credit. Only the three have so far won as much as 0,060, but there is more money i,i sihi for -lie horses this year than was the case in 1913, so it is quite probable the array of winners of ti.at amount will exceed the thiftrtli of last year. The racing of this mouth -tiiii July alone should saaVe , to pass several n ..re o.er the .0Ki mark, but unluckily the great gelding. Old Rosebud, cannot be one of the number.
