PIMLICO CLUB HOUSE OPENED. Baltimore, Md., October 30. The club house at Pimlico has been opened for the fall meeting of the Maryland Jockey Club, under the mauagement of M. A. Daiger. A number of prominent horsemen have engaged rooms, among them being Thomas Hitchcock, II. J. Morris, G. It. Tompkins, Matt Allen, C. It. Fleischinaun, T. J. Healey, F. J. Bryan and H. I. Conkling. Silas Veitch has arrived at Pinilico with a bunch of junipers, including Archibald Barklies Blankenburg, an entry for the Elkridge and Green Spring Valley Steeplechases. Blankenburg is developing into a high class chaser. J. L. Coyle is handling three jumpers for "Miss Chamblet," who is the wife of Congressman La-throp Brown, of New York. The horses arc all three-year-olds and comprise the Texas-bred Chupa-dero, that ran second to Single Stick in the rich Harbor Hill Cup; Caswine and Meshach. It looks as if the Llkridge Steeplechase might be a repetition of the Harbor Hill, as the winner, J. E. Davis Single Stick, aud the same owners Devotee are also entered. Other three-year-old junipers that started in the Piping Bock event are also at Pimlico, including E. F. Whitneys Cagliostro, bred at It. J. Waldens Maryland Farm; Jerry Murphys Collector and II. W. Sages Indian Arrow.
