FOXY GRIFF raced Hi closest pursuit all the way and outstayed RESIGN for second place in the final drive. RESIGN made up ground and came fast through the homestretch. WODAN raced well. 1-ut fred near the end. MEX closed a gap and finished resolutely. HAROLD had a rough race. KRIS KRINGLE ran green. SYRIAN was caught in a jam and fell. Overweights Harold. 2 pounds. RUBICON II. raced forwardly and held on well throughout. THESIERES began slowly and was Tar hick tor the first quarter, but cosed a big gap in the stretch. GRECIAN had no mishaps. FILIGREE ran a fast half, but quit badly in the stretch after trying to twerve out on the turns. MARTINOS was outrun all the way. Scratched 1S2S1 One Step. 103. ROBERT KAY ran a good race and only tired slightly near the end. BANJO JIM came fast through the homestretch after racing well up from the start. CHARMEUSE raced into lie lead on the backstretch,, but tired in the stretch. BIRKA ran well. BESSIE LATIMER and SIDNEY HELLMAN closed gaps. RUSTLING BRASS quit after setting the pace briefly.
