UNCLE LRYN raced under restraint to the stretch turn, then went to the front with a rush and drew awav In the last quarter to win in a canter. MARVELOUS was a forward contender from the start, but tired in the final drive. LIGHT WFNG raced well and was on the outside of the leaders all the way. CAR-LONE was as good as left at the post and closed a great gap. BEVELRY JAMES set a good pace to the stretch, then tired. Won easily; second and third driving. SENEGAMBIAN moved up fast and gamely in the last turn of the Held and, easily passing into the lead, was easing up at the end. IDLE MICHAEL fenced badly, but showed the most speed for the hrst mile and a half, then tired and the winner crossed over in front of him at the last fence. MYSTIC LIGHT fenced poorlv and lacked speed. JESUIT bolted out of the course at the third fence. BRUSH was Crowded out of the course at the same fence. FOXCRAFT raced fairly well. HUMILIATION showed the most early speed and set a good pace to the last turn, but tired in the homestretch. An assistant starters whip caught in JOE FINNS tail and he carried it all the way, necessarily being impeded. GERRARI tired. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
