f REVIEW OF INTER-MOUNTAIN CIRCUIT RACING OF 1914 Notwithstanding the resumption of racing at Denver, the Inter-Mountain circuit failed to make as good a showing this season as last. This is because of the elimination of Coenr d Alone as a racing point. Thy j ears total, contributed principally by the Montana tracks, amounts to only 08,150, as compared with 43,300 in 1913 and 07,705 In 1912. The Montana meetings are said to have been especially well patronized and raeing in that state is in a health- and flourishing condition. The meeting at Denver, with the pari-mutnel system of betting in vogue, was also highly successful and it seems likely that racing is destined to become a popular diversion in that western metropojs. The following tabulation shows, in a general way, some of the phases of the seasons results: XX 32 35 si ss si si. s . r: :; MM f gf f g gg Track.
