BROOM FLOWER, on the outside of the leader all the way, raced in closest pursuit and made a game finish. LHENA was in a pocket for the iirst half and tired badly in the homestretch. The others were badly outpaced. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. HOUSEMAID set a fast pace to the stretch, but was tiring at the end and swerved over to the inside in the last sixteenth. SLUM BE R II. closed a gap e ml finished last and game:y.
