GOSSIP OF KENTUCKY STABLES Lexington Ky April 4 P M Civill of Owens boro Ky has a string of seven useful horses at the Kentucky Association track The veteran of the barn is Garneau now seven years old which Mr Civlll sold during the New Orleans meeting to James T Looney of this city The others all owned by Mr Civill are Robert Kay Mockery Buck Keeiion Shir Actress Investment and Object The last named two are twoyearolds the Cornier a lilly by Froutenac Jennie Wade add the latter a colt by Charles Edward Mameim Investment won at New Orleans but Object has not been to the post as yet yetC C K Slim iMoore is training four threeyear olds for L Weiss of Chicago The star of the string is Stalwaro Helen a slashing chestnut filly by Stalwart Helen Miller by Jean Bereaud She won JSO In purses lust season and is eligible to the Ashland Oaks which is to be run during the Kentucky Association meeting and likewise to the Kentucky Derby which will be the feature of the opening day Mqy S at Churchill Downs The others are Krt Weiss bay colt by Stalwnrt Abseiit Friend an English mare Miss Clara chestnut filly by Stalwart Navarres Hope sister to Fondness by Henry of Navarre and Aimee Leslie chestnut filly by Pink Coat Senta dam of Jolly by Flying Dutchman Albert Luzader bought all four of these horses at the Kentucky Sales Companys auction here in September 1913 as yearlings for an aggre ¬ gate of 710 Miss Clara is the only maiden among them themW W II Suearley is training Business Agent Mose Irvine and Paymaster for Alex B Gordon Paymaster is a gor l looking twoyearold brown colt by Gal veston Nun which was a winner at New Orleans Business Agent and Mose Irvin are threeyearolds the former being a castoff from the E R Bradley stable and the latter last year in the George W limes stable Mose Irvine is a maiden maidenA A L Austin in addition to the Derby candidate Commonada has three others to race in the colors of R T Austin they being Indolence Salon and the twoyearold Tito a brown colt by Dr Lcggo Georiii Girl by Solitaire II IIThe The T F Brannou stable for this year is made up of three of the get of the stallion Transvaal They are the fouryearold Miss Kruter and her three yearold sister Anna Kruter and the threeyearold Running Vine
