SHOWS ROYALTY AT THE RACES Secretary W P Fraser of the Ontario Jockey Club has issued the program book for the forth ¬ coming meeting at Woodbine Park Toronto with which tlie Canadian racing season will be duly opened on May 22 The book as usual Is full of rich offerings that cannot help but gladden the hearts of the horsemen and provide the sort of sport that appeals thoroughly to tlie high class patronage that lias given the Ontario Jockey Club such a preeminent position among the racing organizations of America TSesIdes the book bears eloquent testi ¬ mony to some of the features that have contributed to the distinctive standing of the Ontario Jockey Club in a number of beautiful half tone cuts il ¬ lustrative of scenes connected with last springs state visits to Woodbine of their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Connaught Lady Gray and other notables who have upon various occasions graced the racing at Canadas foremost race course with their presence
