DERBY AND OAKS SET FOR NEWMARKET NEWMARKETA A cablegram from London announces that the Tockey Club has published in the Calendar dates for a three days meeting at Newmarket licgin iilng June 15 which was the date set for the beginning of the Ascot meeting Two events are to be the New Derby and the New Oaks at tho same distance as the Rpsom Derby and Oaks anil to which only threeyearolds nominated to the latter events will lie eligible The obvious intent Is to provide for the running of what In normal times would have been the chief races of the Kpsoin and LVsei t meetings It is to l e anticipated that other siq plementary meetings will be an ¬ nounced iu due line to provide a similar opportunity for the decisioi of the main events of the Good ¬ wood and Donci ster meetings
