1 MOUNT ROYALS SECOND MEETING. Montreal. Que.. October 15. — The final race meeting of 1015 in Canada will open tomorrow at Mount Boyal Park, the new home of the Back Kiver Jockey Club. That there will Ih- no scarcity of racing material to select fields from during the meeting is shown by the number of horses stabled at the course and its vicinity. Owing to the overflow- of horses, stabling accommodations had to lie secured on the outside, there lieing close to 40i horses here ready to race. Not only will there be plenty of horses, but the riding contingent of the last meeting has been materially added to. Charlie Peak has arrived in Montreal from Toronto, while Soheriiiarbrii. who was injured in a fall at Dorval, has recovered and will ride. The officials for the meeting have all arrived. Arthur Elrml and Arthur Campbell will have charge of the ring, as at the last meeting. Many of the horses which were rested here will start fit and fresh. The freshening up should give them an advantage over those which were raced at the recent meeting at Hillcrest Park. Toronto. The management of the club will feature overnight handicaps and will card at least one purse each day of the value of $.".0O. This will make the meeting attractive to the Canadian owners who have their horses now stabled in Montreal. The horses owned by Samuel Nesbit, Allan Bulleroft. P. De-lanev. W. T. Trenholme and Dr. K. llanley have all been kept in training for this meeting. Charles T. Henshall. general manager at the track, announced that the first race will start at two oclock sharp each day. The officials will Ik- the same as at the previous meeting in September. Martin Nathanson will ho racing secretary and presiding bulge, while W. M. Murray will again do the starting. A heavy shower on Wednesday beat down the cushion of the track and it is in faster condition than during the inaugural meeting.
