October 27.— At the Newmarket Houghton meeting today the Cambridgeshire Handicap, of one and an eighth miles for three-year-olds and upward, was won hy E. Hultous three-year old filly Silver Tag bv Sundridge — Silver Fowl, earning 115 pounds. R. J. Farquharsons four year-old hrown colt Mount William hy General Svimms -Prized, ninety-eight pounds, was second, and M E I. St. Al irvs six-ye;ir old chestnut gliding Kile dive III. hy Dehniuey Kizil Konrgaa. lit; pounds was third. Silver Tag finished tirst iu the Champion Stakes at New niarV.-t. October 12. but was di.. qualified. Twenty-five s;aitc.l in the Cambridgeshire.
