PIMUC0 MEETING CLOSE AT HAND. The Pimlico fall meeting opens Monday with every prospect pointing to an unnsusl measure of success. Many of the best grade of eastern stables have been kept in training for the meeting and there are more horses available than the tra«k has accommodations for. Some new stake races have been provided and the purses have been raised to a minimum of ;oo. The full course was thrown open for schooling ou Tuesday of this week and the opportunity was taken advantage of by Silas Veitch. G. B. Tompkins. George P. Sherman. Charles K. Harrison. Jr.. J. K. Frayling. S. L. Joseph thai, J. E. Davis ami other patrons to give their jumpers a tryont. The clubhouse was opened for the meeting yesterday and Manager Daiger states that everv room has been engaged by prominent horsemen.
