La., November 3.— The "Dempsey Special" from Latonia arrived yesterday afternoon after a record run and the 120 horses were ini- mediately transferred to the Fair Grounds and put into quarters. The consignment attracted vast at- tention all along the L. and N. road and iu some of the cities where brief stops were maile moving pic-1 ture operators got busy with their cameras. The trains arrival in the Crescent City attra *ted a big gathering to the station and the horsemen were given a hearty welcome.
