: FLOCKING TO NEW ORLEANS FIZERS AND OTHER RACERS FROM LAT0NIA ARRIVE AT THE TRACK. Waiting Turfmen Find Agreeable Diversion — Fresh Paint for the Grandstand and Other Buildings — Jockey M. Garner to Ride at Crescent City. New Orleans. I-a.. November 12. — W. II. Fizers seven racers and a like number trained by Ed Moore, and owned jointly by him and S. Newman and E. M. Richer, reached here from Latonia yesterday and are now quartered at the Fair Orounds. Weather conditions continue summerlike and the turfmen here are spending their time fishing at nearby localities. M. J. Shannon arrived this morning from Lexington and stated that the horsemen there will begin to depart lor this city next week. The contract for the painting of the big grandstand and the other buildings at the track was awarded this morning and work will begin at once. R. L. Baker has concluded an arragnenient by which he will have the services of jockey M. Garner for th" New Orleans meeting.
