MADDEN A HORSE SHOW JUDGE. John L. Madden served as judge of the thorough Sired classes in connection with the New York horse show. Thursday was virtually given over to the thoroughbreds. In the class for stallions the blue ribbon »a awarded to Willis Sharp Kilmers Yellow rest, a ehestnut son of Yellow Tail and Playful: the red went to T. L. Walts Cii.-le Chief by Ben St rune -Passion Flower, and T. .1. Regans Stalwart Model by Stalwart Avon II.. was awarded third. Grant Hugh Brownes King Cobalt by Cesarion — Estelle Whitney was highly commended. Yellow Crest is a horse of great size, standing a full seventeen bands, and was bred in California by 5. M. Van Cordon.
