Bedwell won his first race of the Oriental Park meeting when Lochiel beat Altamaha by a bead in the fifth race this afternoon, It was another perfect day and a large crowd wis again on hand. There is every indication that the meeting will exceed the fondest hopes of tho management. B. First ran three-quarters in l:12Mi and Imperii ator live-eighths in 1:M%, lioth of which represented new track records, showing the track to be n splendid condition. The Kentucky horses are doing exceedingly well. Fourteen Ixuks were on and the volume of betting was good.
