THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. Of the riders composing the thirty leaders of the year, only five added to their scores of winning mounts in the racing of last week. Of the five, K. Lapaille and E. Pool each rode three winners, while A. Mott, A. Pickens and E. Taplin guided two each. The obvious deduction is that riders less kBbSFI to race track fame won the majority of the races decided. Quite a number of the best riders of the day are now in idleness awaiting tbe New Orleans resumption of racing. Beginning January 1. there will be four tracks in operation and from that time on there will be abundant occupation for the jockeys. In the meantime the records of the thirty leaders are now: Jockey.
