; NOTES OF THE TURF FROM ABROAD. J. F. Hallick has had the misfortune to lose a promising foal by Greenback out of Suu Bonnet from internal trouble. Miss Norah V. Kdwardes has registered her colors under National Hunt rules, mauve, white chevrons, turquoise blue cap. the same as those of the late Mr. George Kdwardes. J. W. Tuskin. the much-travelled steeplechase jockey, has arrived at Major Y. The stewards of the Ward Hunt Fairyhousel meeting will shortly consider the question of raising the value and lengthening the distance of the Irish Grand National, which is annually decided on Faster Monday at Fairyhouse. Bvetl was second and SI. Andrew third. Bachelors Wed-ding is an Irish-bred, ami was formerly owned by sir William Nelson. He was highly esteemed al one time and was fancied for the classic events of 1913, in which, however, he ran moderately, but he managed to win the Irish Derby. Subsequently In- was sent to India and last year carried off the Viceroys Cup. Mr. G. Fillers, the editor of "Dciitscln r Sport." is a good sportsman ami an excellent judge , of a horse. It was Mr. Killers who picked I the mare Politic by Childwicki out of M. Yeil 1 Picards stud at Neautles. Subsequently he disponed of her tn Herr Y. Mauttner von Markhof. The latter bred from her tho Illy Lorn, which was i by the French-bred sire. Gouvernant. With I.ora Herr Y. Mauttner. last October, secured the Hug 1 Heaekel Memorial of marly 1.000 sovereigns one . mile, and she thus proved herself to be the best filly if her age.
