The Jockev Club Juarez has adopted the scale of weights of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, referred to in the preceding paragraph. PACIFIC JOCKEY CI. IB. In races of Intermediate lengths, the weights for the shorter distame shall be carried. In a race exclusively for two year-olds the weights shall be 118 pounds. In a race ex.lusivcdy for three-year-rdds the weights shall be 12 pOUUdl. In bear races there shall be an allowance of five pounds rom the scale of weights. Kxcepl in handicaps and in races where the weights are lived absolutely in the conditions, fillies two years old and geldings of all ages shall be allewed throo pounds, and fillies and mares three years eld and onward shall be allowed live pounds before September 1 and three pounds thereafter. In races exclusively for three-year-olds, the weight shall be 145 pounds. Except in handicaps and in races where the weights are fixed absolutely in the conditions, mares shall be allowed five pounds bffore September 1, and three pounds afterward. Geldings shall be allowed three pounds. For races on the flat under Hunt Club nuspteea, the scale of weights adopted by the Jockey Club shall govern and in respect of such races welter weights shall be 28 pounds above the weight for age. When a scale of weights for age is not Bxed by the regulations of anv course or bv the condniis of a meeting or race the following scale snail govern : For steeplechases and hurdle races less than three miles from January 1 to July 31, inclusive, four years. 145 pounds: five years. 15:j pounds; six years and over. 166 pounds. From August 1 to December 31. inclusive, three years. 138 pounds; four years. 155 pounds: five years, 163 pounds; six years and 0T1 r. 140 pounds. For steeplechases of three miles and over. January 1 to August 31. inclusive, four vears. 139 pounds: five years. 157 pounds: six years and over. ItJH pounds. From September 1 to December 31 incisive, four years. 149 pounds: live years, 101 pounds; six years and over. 106 pounds. Except in handicaps and in all races w-!iere the conditions expressly state to the contrary, mares shall be allowed five pounds before the firvt of Ser teml er. and three pounds therefter.
