W. R. COES BROODMARE IMPORTATIONS. New York, February 9. — The shipment of broodmares on the Minnehaha, sent from England to W. R. Doe, included ten. but one of the mares. Recoil, by Carbim — Broad Cofrie, and in foai to St iiia-r. died in England before being shipped. Th- other mares all landed in excellent condition. and they are a tine-looking lot. Home Bird. b. m. foaled 1909. by Thrush— Honey Holme MI i- mate was exported from England to Belgium as a two-year-old and later imported back to England: in foal to Willony. Binary Belle, b. in. foaled 1909. by Soliman— Roslin. bv P.lairfindo: in foal to Cicero. Mavis. I,, m, foaled 1908. by Missel Thrush— Melete. bv Bona Yista: in foal to Land League. Laughaway, eh. in. foaled 1900. by Cicero — Chaff-awn, bv Rightaway: in foal to Primer. laette. b. na, foaled 1810. bv Isinglass— Brielle. by Mart agon; in foal to Bridge of Allan. Gain. r. b. m. foaled 1812, bv Radium— Baronda, by Carbim : in leal to Winstanley. These broodmares have beta shipped to Red Bank for Fe present, but later they will be sent to Mr. Coea Sic shone Valley Ranch in Wyoming, Where they will join two more mares already on the ranch These, two American mares are Banality. in foal to Whisk Broom II.. and Hassock, in foal to Peter Pau.
