REFUSES TO TRANSFER SHARES OF STOCK. New Orleans, Fa.. March 9. — Miss Jean Cordon, Well-known club woman and reformer, did not rile her receivership suit against the Business Mens Racing Association today, as expected. On the contrary, she failed to because the legal holder of two shares of stock she bad purchased from Joseph Blttenherg, because President I. B. Reunyanu. of the association, had refused to sign th rtlflrates of transfer. Miss Gordons lawyers, according to report, will now bring a mandamus proc ling against th,- association to force the lliananq el her stock.
