JUAREZ MEETING IS DECLARED OFF. Kl Paso, Texas, March 14.— The following statement Was nicn out today by manager M. .1. Winn , of the Jockey Clnb Juarez: "Taking into consideration all the existing circumstances, the management of the .Jockey Club Juarea d ems ,t best for all tsaeemed to discontinue the present meeting at the track. The pro-grim announced for today, therefore, is declared oil." Owing to the conditions that exist «Hh United States t pa preparing to enter Mexico, patrons of racing at Juarez hae been keyed up to a high nervous tension for the past few days. While there is no real danger of any trouble at the track, manager Winn deemed it the safest and best policy to discontinue the meeting, which was to have e|,,s,.d, in any event, with next Sunday. The horses will l»- transferred across the river at once ••and their ownen will ship immediately to other points, s ime will go to Kentucky, others to Hot Springs, eastern Canada and Tijuana. Manager M. J. Winn departed today for his home ill LeuisvlDe. All the other officials will be leaving for their bouses within the next few dajs.
