GALESWINTHE closed a big gap and finished fast after having saved ground on all turns. EDDIE T. ran well in the going and showed the most early speed, but tired as if short. OPHELIA W. had a rough race and finished fast and gamely after being crowded against the rail on the far turn and being in close quarters again in the homestretch. KINGFISHER wore the tiring BRIGHT STAR down for third place. The latter showed speed for the first three-eighths, then lost ground. BURBANK quit badly. Scratched — 25745Dunga Din, 112. SIR KDGAR set -a fast pace and saved ground on all turns, but could not withstand the winners challenge. J. J.
