CARRIE ORME at once moved into the lead with a rush and set a fast pace, but had to be urged hard in the stretch to outstay SAlTERELLE. The latter was forced wide in the stretch and ran a good race. J. B. MAYLOW iluished gamely. THE NORMAN was shuttled back soon after the start and came fast near the end. MEN was beaten off most of the way. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
