MIRZA liogan slowly, but gained steadily and finished gamely, when called on. OLD DRURY raced into a long lead in the homestretch, but tired badly when clial-lengeil. EMDEN rushed into a long lead in the early running, but tired near the end. ROSE WATF.R was badly outpaced for the tirst half mile, but came fast in the homestretch and would have been second in a few more strides. HARRY JUNIOR quit in the final eighth. ARNOLD had no mishaps and made a game effort at the quarter tmst, hut tired near the end. STAR FINCH swerved several times, but finished fast when straightened away for a final effort. DISTANT SHORE raced under pressure from the start, but could never get up. TOP HAT was gaining slowly at the liuish. MAGNET did not run well in the going. CHERRY MALOTTE was crowded back WIHll times, but fenced fearlessly and made a game effort in the final eighth. FOOTLIGHTS easily held DIKE OF DCLCTH safe at the end.
