ONWA secured a clear course next to the inner rail for the entire race and made a game effort under punishment, but the leader held him safe. SOLVEIG- closed up gamely when clear in the homestretch. AIMKK T. closed a big gap. MAE MURRAY wa shull.ed back at. the start and raced wide throughout, but made up much ground. The winner, entered for ,000. was bid up to ,505 and bought in. The hitter was in close quarters on the far turn and gained slowlv when clear in the final quarter. CKLANDRIA was forced back at. the start and gradually improved her position on the outside of the leaders. SAND MARK had a rough race. FENMOUSE ran poorlv and was never prominent. KINGS OAK closed up gradually through the homestretch under punishment and outstayed BONNIE TESS. The latter was forced to pull up sharplv on the far turn mid came again on the stretch turn, but tired in the closing strides. MURPHY" set the pace to the backstretch and quit.
