MUDDY GOING AFFECTS KENILWORTH RACING Windsor, Ont., October 19. There were numerous withdrawals at Kenilworth Park today on account of heavy rain during the night, leaving the track in a sloppy condition. The feature of the day, a handicap at three-quarters, furnished one of the most exciting finishes of the meeting, four horses passing the judges heads apart. The winner turned up in Liberator, well ridden by jockey Lapaille. It was his second winning mount of the day. J. C. Ferrlss will ship his string to Juarez. Captain W. J. Press has purchased at private sale from F. J. Pons, the gelding Squeeler and the filly Boneros First. R. D. Carter has purchased from L. A. Seregni the gelding J. B. Harrell for 1916.sh00. J. J. McCafferty will dispose of his plater Spohn in the paddock at public auction Saturday and is leaving for Buenos Ayres next week to train for a wealthy Argentine horseman. Several claims were put in for Christophine yesterday and F. X. Hcnnessy got the mare for 00. Three claims were also tendered for Kootenay and J. B. Goodman got him for 950.
