OWNER BRADLEYS RACERS MAKE ONLY A RESPECTABLE SHOWING IN THE CAMPAIGN OF THIS YEAR. A A representative western owner and breeder, Edward K. Bradley, did not attain the measure of success in the racing of 1910. his extensive investments in thoroughbreds would seem to warrant. However, since establishing his breeding enterprise at Idle Hour Farm, he has stuck to his appointed aim intelligently and courageously and, in the long run such pertinacity is bound to bring its due reward. Possibly his severest disappointment was the failure of his English -bred fillies to do much in racing, but other owners were in the same boat and they may do better for him in 1917. His Sain colt. Blind Baggage, ran well enough to justify the reports of his speed in his early two-year-old days, and was his best money winner. In that regard the Sain filly. Busy Joe, was second to Blind Baggage, so it may be said the Sains did quite Avell for him. His stable record for the year was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. AAon.
