HARRY SHAW TO BE RETIRED. John Powers has sent Harry Shaw and Port Light to Shrewsbury. N. J., to be turned out for the winter, but will race Leochares at Bowie. Powers decided that Port Light had earned : rest, and it was necessary to retire Harry Shaw because this old campaigner broke down iu his last race.
