WIDELY KNOWN TURFMAN PASSES AWAY. New Orleans. La.. February is. — I. 1". Strode, a ■veil known Texas turfman, died here today after a brief illness of ;mt anionia. Mr. Strode, with Ins son J. A. Strode, had a large stable of horses racing at the Fair Grounds this winter, and his horses were successful in winning their share of moos.
