He has grown and is now over lg hands high, is taller than Cudgel, his stable-mate, but has not filled out like the latter. Ke-lly has been cured if his bad temper, freeiuently shown while at tli- post last year, and is now as docile as any Other COtt. He- has been cbeing geeoel all winter and is still paosesssd of his dazzling speed. He will midouh.i illy be favorite with the westerners for the big race. Midway also has grown and Is eks to be in grand shape. Ill- is not undersized, as some have Stated, but has height and width and must lie close to lti hands.
