RlTH LAW began slowly, but closed up rapidly in the final quarter and passed the leaders under pressure, but was going away at tiie finish. DIANTHEA saved much ground on the stretch turn and, finishing gamely, outstayed MISS BURGOMASTER in the closing strides. The hitter rated into the lead and tired as if short. HOPE dosed a big gap and the effort should improve her. LOW DEGREE ran given. LADY MOOKE set the early pace, hut was shuffled back at the eighth post and finished eased tin.
