Won handily: second and third driving. THEODORE FAIP. a rapid beginner, sprinted into a long load in the first nunrter, but tired badly in the homestretch. HASFFN ruined Steadily and finished fast and gaining. LADY GAXBTX had to be hard ridden to outstay SWEEP IP II. The latter, as good as left, closed a tremendous gap. GOBLET made up ground also. BRIGHT SAND was much used in racing lOPPEE into defeat and tired in the final drive. MORRISTOWN began slowly and was taken wide, but ■unshed fast and close up.
