Notification was re-reived this morning by the various jockey clubs of the eity to the effa t that the sixty-day limit between meetings had beea SMderated to thirty days. Che new enaetiH nt yvas received with much gratil ication in local racing circles. With a sixty-day limit imposed, it yvo.ild have been impossilde for some of the tracks to conduct a second saeet-iig before August 1. when the Order in CoaacH iii-asui-e prohibiting betting on race tracks becoaaea effective. This would be unfair to those tracks. Which have been under heavy expense to install sari mutiiel plants to meet the provincial governments requirements.
