FALL STAKES FOR BELMONT PARK. Twelve Features Announced for September Meeting of Westchester Racit-g Association. j New York, July II Announcement has been made of the stakes that will be offered by the Westchester Racing Association at Belmont Park for the fall meettlng, which begins September 1 and continues until September 15. There are twelve stakes to he closed for this meeting, which, coupled with the running of the Futurity, will make the meeting one of the important ones of the season. Three of the fixtures are for three-year-olds and over They are the Municipal Handicap, of ,000 added and at the mile and a half distance; the Belmont Park: Autumn Handicap, with ,500 added, at a mile and an eighth, and the Nassau a selling stake at a mile, which has a guaranteed value of ,500. For the three-year-olds the offering is the famous old Jerome Handicap. For this running it lias an added value of ,500. The Autumn Highweight Handicap, of three-quarters through the straight. Js for all ages, and it is of ,000 added value, while the other offerings are for the two-year-olds and the steeplechasers. The two-year-old stakes include the Champagne, of seven-eighths, witii ,000 added; Nursery Handicap, of three-quarters, with ,000 added, and the Mlneola Selling, of ,500 guaranteed, at three-quarters. The steeplechases are the Brook Cup Handicap, of ,500 added, over the three-mile route; Corinthian Handicap, of two miles and a half, with ,200 added, and the Broadliollow Handicap, of two miles, with ,000 added. It is worth while to note that many of the fall stakes are added money features instead of guaranteed stakes, and the Westchester Association is to he congratulated on its liberality. The entries for these various fixtures will close "with Secretary Earlocker on July 23.
