J GOOD TIJUANA STAKE RACES ANNOUNCED. To give owners a forecast of what may be expected in the way of leading racing attractions at Tijuana next winter, general manager J. W. CofCroth has announced a list of ten good stake races, with the statement that other stakes will be ofTered later on. The events announced do not close for entries until November 3, so there Is no immediate pressure in regard to making entries. The main thing is that they emphasize the growing importance of Tijuana ns 11 winter racing point. Over 00,000 was distributed among winning owners there last winter, and an even greater disbursement in the same way is indicated for the meeting of 1917-18. The conditions of the ten stakes are published on the last page of this edition. Owners and trainers are invited to consider the terms of this- attractive Tijuana offering with care.
