FIRING IRONS APPLIED TO HUFFAKER Louisville, Ky., December 2S. Capt. "W. F. Cisco has at present in his barn at Churchill Downs but two horses, these being Huffaker and M. Bert Thur-innn. They are in charge of G. P. Mattingly, who expects to have them in fine condition to face the barrier at the spring meetings in Kentucky. The Cisco stable was unfortunate during the past season and did not garner many purses. M. Bert Tiiurmau was cut down in a race at the Latonia spring meeting, and sustained injuries that kept him in retirement during the fall season, lie lias fully recovered and is now being given his daily work. JIuffaker was recently fired, necessitating a let-up in his work. Mr. Cisco intends adding to his stable shortly by the purchase of several promising yearlings.
