« CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Frank Weir has three two-year-olds that are training in satisfactory fashion am! will be ready for early racing in Maryland. They are Perry, a brown son of Peep oDay — Veronlque; Brisk, a chestnut gelding by Brammei — Miss Marathon, and Marinon. a brown daughter of Master KoTiert — Marbles. Jack Hare Jr. has grown into a magnificent throe-year-old and. tmless all sjt;ns fail, he will surely make his way in the three-year-old division. Iioth he and Old Rosebud have engagements at Havre de Orace. while his real goal of the Maryland season will be the Preakness. to be decided at Pimlico. George Ziegler has a string of the Frank Nolan Beverwyck Stable horses at iravesend and they are showing excellent advancement in their preparu tion for the racing season. Inia Frank, the fast daughter of Abe Frank, which will be started in the Toboggan, among her other engagements, never looked better. Old Koenig, which is the stable dependence in most of the handicaps, is another that will come back to the races better than ever before. A
