SOSIIS, favored by the going, disposed of THE GRADER and GOLDEN LIST in the early running and outstayed LANGHORNE in the final drive. LANGHORNE ran well, but lost much ground by racing wide and swerved out badly near the end. GOLDEN LIST took the lead in the stretch and might have won with a good ride. THE GRADER set the early pace and tired in the last quarter. OPHELIA W. ran fairiv well. HIGH GEAR ran i oorl.v in the going. BY DECK l cgan slowly, but closed a gap and was going fast at the end. MADRAS showed the most speed for the first three-eighths, then tired badly. ALLAH was away slowly and decisively outpaced. DIAMOND was saved under restraint for the first three-quarters and challenged in the stretch, but tired in the last eighth. DOROTHY DEAN was going well at the end after making a slow beginning. LITTLE BIGGER raced forwardly from the start, but her rider kept her behind CHICK BARKLEY in the stretch and she tired near the end. FOR FAIR finished lame. The others were badly outrun.
