A wager on Minto II. last Thursday, with a provision for an "if coming" wager on Liberator, if Minto II. won, would have won on both provided it had been made In-fore either nice had been run, or provided neither party to the transaction had any knowledge of the result, iu either case. If the backer knew that Liberator had already won, he could only take on Minto II.
