LOYALIST was in closest pursuit from the start and stood the final drive gamely. TEXAS SPECIAL closed a big gap. although racing wide, and finished fast. THE SIX lUNDRED was away slowly and swerved in tlie stretch. BOB BAKEK was well up for most of the way. LoTHAIR was away slowly and outpaced all the way. but closed a big gap. SQUEELER regained his speed suddenly, raced forwardly from the start and drew away into the lead when KING BELLE tired and won easing up. KAMA had to he strongly ridden in the stretch and just lasted long enough to hold second place. TIlnRX BLOOM moved up rapidly on the stretch turn, hut lost ground by coming wide. KINO BELLE showed the most early speed and made the pace fast, but tired badly near the end. SKILES KNOB dropped back after going the first quarter. Scratched — 38304 Blue Paradise, »5. MUD SILL began slowly and was badly outrun early, but closed a big gap and finished with a Isolated rush after saving much ground when coming into the stretch. BUCK NAIL raced wide on the turns and tired in the final drive. BEAN SPILLER ran well. SCHEMER tired after going three quarters. Sera tolled— 38443 Alston. 10S. EXTERMINATOR was bard ridden in the last quarter and wore FREECUTTER down in the last eighth. FREECUTTER set the early pace and held on gamely in the stretch drive, but finished tiring.
