stated today that the heel ailment of Pride of India was not as serious as at first anticipated and that he would be ready to fill his engagement in the United States Hotel Stakes which will be decided Saturday and in wliich practically all of the crack juveniles in the country will contest contestJefferson Jefferson Livingston was among the arrivals last night and will take in the first two weeks of the racing before returning to Chicago The string he had racing over the Xew York tracks under the management of Jack McCorinack will reach Sara ¬ toga tomorrow Combining this aggregation with those looked after by Mose Goldblatt which have been campaigned in Kentucky makes the Livingston racing establishment one of the largest here in training trainingJockey Jockey Dan Connelly who is now under contract to II A Porter has his first mount for his new contract employer this afternoon The jockey has also been engaged to pilot Mr Porters horses next fall on the Kentucky tracks
