it a selling clause and only a half dozen moderaie class ones tried conclusions with W II Coes Uncle Lassie regarded with the most favor ami E H Hradleys mushing Peauty also holding a high place in the punters esteem ISoth were downed in decisive style by Knot but it was in the main due to tlie g MMl ride given the winner and the puor riding the other pair received Pool particularly of ¬ fended on Hlnshing Peauty for that filly ran as if l est and but for the Idunders of her rider wouhl probably have won The ISrailley jinx at this track is becoming proverbial and his colors have still to excepting at two of the hedges where he pecked badly but recovered fast and outstayed Le Marsouln another French bred to win by a comfortable margin Glenpop also a Frenchman landing in third place The race was not without its mishaps and the gravest sufferer was the gray gelding Flying Scout which sustained a badly spread hoof and other injuries by striking the first jump but continued gamely for the re ¬ mainder of the race and finished the course but was with difficulty led back to his stable and there is a likelihood that he will have to be destroyed Jockey Scully who had the mount on Kingstown Pier suffered a fall and n bad shaking up as a result of his failing to keep in the saddle when his mount blundered at the Liverpool opM site the clubhouse in the second round of the course Kingstown Pier was disputing with Dramaturge for the lead at the time of his mishap and his elimination allowed the winner to draw into a lengthy lead and helpocl him to victory victoryMCNOMOY MCNOMOY which bars Juveniles from racing in the winter According to report the majority of the Jockey Club stewards are willing to have the rule rescinded It is more than likely that favorable action in the matter will develop at the next meeting of the Jockey Club
