Todays rac ¬ ing was by far the best of the present meeting and though no outstanding features were on tap the different dashes brought about spirited finishes of the close variety which was highly Jack K which he kept in front throughout and beat General There was considerable crowding and bad riding in this race which accounted for the poor showing of Hasty Mabel and Bon Otis OtisJohnsons Johnsons vigorous riding of Kentucky Boy was the main factor in his success over Little Cottage in the fourth race Berlin an expected contender stumbled in the first quarter and it eliminated him as a
