HUNDLEY BAKER VICTIM OF INFLUENZA CINCINNATI Ohio December W H Baker a horse owner ami trainer died last night in his apartment in the Gibson House a victim of pneu ¬ monia following influenza lit was taken ill Mon ¬ day but his frail constitution could not withstand the ravages of the disease Baker was thirtysis years phi and a native of St Louis The body will be shipped there for burial His wife formerly Miss Ella Kyan of this city and his mother were with him when he passed away awayHundley Hundley Baker as he was generally known was in attendance at the late Latonia meeting where several of his horses won races His brother Grover C Baker died during the spring meeting at Latonia The Baker brothers wereknown on all tracks in America and Canada A couple of years back their horses won more races on the Kentucky tracks than any other stable stableTheir Their father also was a horseman and trained a string for Barney Schreibcr mure than a score of years ago f
