CREAl OF RIDERS AT FAIR GROUNDS NEW ORLEANS; La.. January 12. Not in many years have as many high-class Jockeys been gathered at a winter track as are now at the Fair Grounds. With the exception of tlie veterans Loftus and Knapp, mid the Juniors Lunsiord and Kummer, every rider of any consequence is in New Orleans riding or readv to ride at the Fair Grounds. Kentucky is not well represented, but that is because the good riders in tlie Blue Grass State the past year were few and far between. Excepting- Lunsford, the only good boys there are Garner, F. Smith, B. Connelly. Genfry, Kirschbaum and Hanover. Frank Robinson, Lawrence Lyke, Rodriguez, Walls, Stalker, Elisor, Sneidnian. Rice, John iMcTaggart, Rowan, Schuttinger. Troxier and Parrington are among the better known ones that rode on the ensttrn tracks, and they are all here showing local race patrons Just what they are capable of doing in the riding line. Jockey J. Mooney, a local product, who rode well on he Kentucky tracks, is "also riding here with a Bood measure c-f success.
