Hancock has purchased from John II. tl of Richmond, Va., the ten-year-old mare lnlf Hempstead, by Fatherless Adele Roe, and will "treed her to Celt. This mare, the dam of which is a sister to Xetwork, grandam of Dunboyne, w:s never trained, and has never been mated with a thoroughbred stallion. Bandymo and Job Thayer, both four-year-olds, have been put in training at the Kentucky Association course by Robert C. Frakes. , Pocketpiece, twenty-three-year-old daushter of Hanover and Marguerite, is dead. She was owned by Miss Jay Daingerfield. and was the dani of Old Coin, Pcnuyrock, loughkeepsie.
