NEW SUPERINTENDENT FOR SARATOGA NEW YORK. N. Y., February 1. Billy Myer, the well-known track superintendent, who last year reconstructed the Saratoga track, has been notified that his work being completed his services are no longer required by the association. For the time being Mr. Landers, who has had charge of the property for many years, will still look after its affairs until such time that a permanent track superintendent is engaged. According to official figures the reconstruction of the track cost 1919.sh8,000 and Mr. Myer delivered to the association a track that was voted the best in this country, as well as the fastest. The latter assertion was proved by the records smashed over it during last August. No intimation has been given out regarding the future permanent superintendent, any more than it will be the best man obtainable.
